Muffin Tin Monday | Love is in the Air!

The theme for this week's Muffin Tin Monday is Love is in the Air!

At first I thought I'd just do a staight-up Valentine themed muffin tin meal, but the idea of "in the air" kept rolling around in my head and I ended up going more in that direction.

My first idea was to use the airplane Lunch Punch sandwich cutter. This was for Tyler. :)

Love is in the Air Muffin Tin Meal with airplane

- Airplane sandwich, peanut butter and jelly on multigrain
- pomegranate fruit leather hearts
- grapes, in a silicone cup
- heart-shaped strawberries
- cucumber hearts, cut with a mini cookie cutter
- strawberry yogurt with sprinkles
- baby carrots, with hummus in a little heart-shaped cup

That was fun and my little Tyler was thrilled.
But I wasn't done yet. :)

Love was still flying around in the air around here... and Paige got a muffin tin meal too. :)

Love is in the Air Muffin Tin Meal with kite

- sandwich, cut into the shape of a kite, with a little fruit leather heart (kite string is a piece of licorice string, and the kite bows are also fruit leather)
- grapes, with a heart bento pick
- cucumber hearts
- strawberry yogurt with sprinkles
- marshmallow (clouds!)
- heart-shaped strawberries

Now it's your turn!
Please link up your muffin tins with the linky tool below, visit some other muffin tins in the collection, and leave a couple friendly comments for the fellow muffin tin meal makers. :)

Pssst! Don't forget to check out the Muffin Tin Monday information page, including the schedule for the next several weeks' themes!
You can always find it in the top toolbar, it's currently under the "about" tab. I'll have it renamed "MTM" as soon as I figure out how to do that. ;)

So cute.! Just started reading your site. Do your kids go to school yet.? Or is that for home.? Also, do you use organic fruits/veggies? And what's your favorite bread to use..? Or make. Thanks for your info.!

Hey Anonymous #5! :)
All my kids go to school. I have a 5th & 3rd grader and a Kindergartener who are all in school for full days. My youngest is in half-day preschool. The older three get packed lunches, my youngest only has a packed lunch on occasion. Muffin Tin Meals are a fun thing we do on the weekends, they don't travel beyond our kitchen. :)

What wonderfully creative muffin tins. I love the kite!
I apologize that I didn't realize Muffin Tin Monday had moved and there was a theme this week. We didn't do our Valentine muffin tin today because we were focused on our lesson of the sense of taste. I linked up my post of the sense of touch and taste. If it is okay I will link up our Valentines muffin tin on Valentines day.
BTW, I couldn't get your button to work. Not sure why. Will try again later.

Love all the lunches linked!

I tried linking back with the button, but I keep getting a message that the IMG tag is broken, and I am not nearly HTML savvy enough to find the break. Thought you might want to know :)

Thanks for the info Jessie! I'm getting a headache trying to get the code box in the post to show correctly, and I won't be attempting to put it in the post again -- but it's available in the sidebar (bottom of the left margin) and on the "about" page. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Posting the button isn't mandatory, just an option. Just linking back with a text link is a-okay. :)

kewkew - thank you for the kind words! Themes are always just a fun option, it is perfectly wonderful to do whatever muffin tin meals you desire. Sorry about the button issues. The code in the sidebar (bottom left) should work fine. I'm not sure why the one in the post is being cranky. ;)
