I have been feeling so uncreative lately and totally uninspired in the cute-food arena. Blah! To be honest, I recently began scrapbooking again (after a 6+ year hiatus) and I am looooving it and it's pretty much all I'm
First up, my Paigey Pie's lunch:

- peanut butter and jelly sandwich with fruit leather decoration (cut with mini cookie cutters)
- love knots (or pretzels, whatever)
- strawberries cut into crude hearts
- applesauce
The applesauce is a really cute trick I picked up from Lunches Fit for a Kid: Pour in your applesauce, nestle a cookie cutter into it, scoop out the applesauce from inside the cookie cutter, then fill with colored applesauce.
In my case I used a straw and sucked up the applesauce from the middle (because I'm ever so classy). My food coloring squeezer had a clog and then spurted way too much coloring, I would have prefered a pinker hue over this Dexter-ized shade of crimson.
Astrid at Lunches Fit for a Kid also made some really pretty swirly bread for Vday. Make sure to check it out!
Next up, Tyler's lunch:

Pretty much the same dealio as the first one, just different fruit leather shape atop the sandwich and I fumbled a strawberry into the applesauce which messed up the top side of it.
Paige and Tyler were thrilled to see the strawberries. It's been awhile since we've had any.
I hope you all have a lovely day!
