An excursion deep into my picture files uncovered a treasure of forgotten bento lunches. Three of these long lost meals are from the last week of school... way back in May!
Lunch number one -

Packed in a Bynto box:
- organic baby carrots
- a jumbo silicone muffin cup filled with rolls of deli turkey and topped with a piece of dinoriffic cheddar cheese
- Wheat Thin crackers
- dill pickle spear
Lunch number two -

Packed in the Bynto box again:
- organic baby carrots and organic strawberries in a jumbo silicone cup
- turkey rolls with cheddar cheese bear heads
- Goldfish crackers
Lunch number three -

clockwise from top left: Ritz crackers, baby carrots, kiwi fruit, turkey.
These lunches were for Paige and Tyler, but I can't for the life of me remember what the occasion was. Maybe an afternoon at the pool. :)
Packed in EasyLunchboxes....

Identical lunches of bagel thins with organic cream cheese, veggie chips, cucumber slices and strawberries.

I came across your blog via pinterest. I had never heard of bento before that. But I think I have spent about five hours the past couple days reviewing your blog and looking at supplies online. I just don't think I could ever be as creative as you. You make it look so easy!
Melissa, Love your blog! My kids are very excited about the possibility of having more exciting lunches this school year. Can I ask if it's still possible to find the Lock & Lock bento boxes you use? I've been trying, and it looks as though they have been discontinued? Thank you!
I'm debating on getting the bynto because I have other boxes already. It looks like you can pack a great lunch in them. I have the goodbyn and love it for packing for all of us, but it's way too big for just my 5 year old. My boys always love the rolled up turkey too.
Anonymous -- sadly, it looks like that Lock & Lock box style has been discontinued. :( Such a bummer. It's replacement is similar, but a little different layout: http://bit.ly/TzGZAe
