let me pick your brain about giveaways
Hey guys! Will you do me a big, huge, favor? Tell me what your thoughts/feelings/opinions are on giveaways. Specifically, about giveaways on THIS blog, Another Lunch. Since, you know, this is the blog I make decisions for. :)

I don't see a poll either and without specific questions, I don't know what kind of feedback you are looking for. Products, time, entries...???

Basically, I'm curious what the consensus is - Do you love giveaways, think they are okay, or wish to not see any on the blog at all?
The poll is gone for me, too.
As for giveaways, I enjoy them so long as they don't completely overrun the site, change its purpose, seem really out of place constantly, or have a million hoops to jump through for silly items.

I like them as an occasional treat - but not when every blog post is sponsored or a giveaway. :))
I like the giveaways - especially when you show how to use the product and then give one away.
I like giveaways as long as they are simple to enter (I wish I had time to do some of the crazy ones... but I just don't :)). Yours are always great - you show great examples of how they're used and always give really fun things away. That being said, I do agree that they shouldn't overrun the site... because your normal entries are great inspiration all on their own as well.
I love giveaways, but I don't want to have to write my email address on a public post in order to enter.
