lunchbots squirrel bento

Over the weekend my little girl asked (repeatedly!) for a bento. Happy to oblige, this was her lunch on Sunday. :)

Lunchbots squirrels bento

In a Lunchbots Duo box she had peanut butter and grape preserves sandwich on white-wheat bread.  I used  a dumpling maker to seal the sandwich into the fun shapes. There are a few honey wheat pretzels to the side and a couple pieces of fruit leather, cut into tiny squirrels with the help of a tiny cookie cutter.

In the bottom section of the Lunchbots are a couple strawberries and a silicone cup of clementine segments with cute squirrel picks.

It was a woodland pals kind of lunch. :)

p.s. Today is the last day to enter The Rusted Chain giveaway! Don't miss it!

Those are super cute...the potsticker press could also be used for turkey feathers or peacock feathers depending on the theme for the day.

hi, i've been following your blogs for a while now and i love all of the cute innovations you've come up with. may i ask you how do you make your sandwiches so perfect? i saw one of those dumpling presser at the store y'day and bought one- been struggling to make it as perfect as yours. how much PBJ do you put it in? how is it so perfect smooth around the curve? please forgive me if i missed a blog on how you did it.
