- turkey sandwich
- cheesey chicken decoration
- fruit section: strawberry, pitted cherries on a chicken pick, cantaloupe
- cucumber slices
- pretzel sticks
The cheesey chicken was fun and simple to make. :)

I used a bird shaped mini cookie cutter and some itty bitty mini cutters for the beak and feet detail. The crown is from a tiny star cutter. The eyes were made using a teeny straw - actually, a stir stick, like you find for stirring coffee.

I LOVE THE CHEESY CHICKEN!! And thank you for showing the kit that has the stuff to do it! I often see some of the things people do with their bentos and wonder what combination of cutters they had to have to do it. I'm just getting started and LOVE you blog because you include things like that!
I noticed that their prices were $.20-$1 more per item (for the same item, on the ones I looked at) than Jlist. Is the shipping difference good enough to make it worthwhile? Not waiting 2 months seems good, but I'm willing to wait 2 months to save $10-20 in price differences on my order!
I've ordered from them, and they are WONDERFUL! I have this set, actually. Very cute chick!
Thanks so much for sharing the bento supply shop info!!
But maybe with the 5% off... plus I don't mind supplying you with prizes for us readers! I'm just afraid I'll drop another $100 that I have to shamefully hide from my husband... While he's happy coming up with MTM ideas with me, he still rolls his eyes at me when I make them!
Man... now I want a whole bunch of new toys! Do... not... need!
This is so cute! I love the tiny little feet. I also love the way you separated the compartments in the bento box to suit this lunch. Nice!
Cheep cheep! Cuties!
Oh my goodness...how cute! That chicken in adorable! I love your blog! My kids lunches have never been the same since I found your blog...they love their new bento style lunches.
OMGosh that chicken is adorable! And thanks for the link to the new store (and nothing wrong with getting back something for yourself!)
Ludicrous Mama, it's hard to beat JList's prices. :) I'm a very satisfied JList shopper - but a lot of peeps have been asking for some other shop recommendations and so many others are WAY overpriced (like double JList prices, youch!). It seems stock and available items varies a lot, too. I've never seen this particular line of cutters before on JList. Maybe they have had them and I just missed them though, that's possible.
Aww the little chick is so cute! I love All Things For Sale..hmmm it's been awhile since I've ordered, guess I should pop on over..lol
Enjoy the pennies you earned off my order! I had no idea about that site! I am new to Bento box lunches - I love them!
Aww the cheesey chicken is so cute!! :D
I LOVE this cutter set! They're sold out at the website posted (All Things For Sale.) :( Does anyone know of another source?
lol such a cute little chickie. I have that set too and haven't ever used it until this morning for my lion sandwich. Thanks for the link to that site. I will be ordering from them!
Cool, thanks for the tip. I already placed an order!
Too cute! Just what I need, more cutters ;)
Adorable! I'm new to your site and it's fantastic ... just shared it with a friend on facebook. Thanks for all the fun ideas.
Bummer! That chick set is sold out on the site, along with those adorable little animal fork/picks. Any other sites?
I emailed them and asked they said that they will have more in start to mid OCT :-)
Where do you find pitted cherries???
Allison, they are just regular cherries that I pitted myself using a cherry pitter. This is the one I use: http://amzn.to/cE427E
Which bento box is featured here? Super cute!!!
