Due to the morning mayhem's hustle and bustle I have been churning out very simple no-frills lunches. And today was no exception.
Ethan's lunch:

Packed in an EasyLunchboxes container, he has from left to right: granola bar, cereal bar, stone-ground wheat crackers and the silicone cup holds cheddar cheese. The small section at top right contains pickles and the bottom right section is baby carrots.
Where's the fruit?
I'm so glad you asked. :)

For his morning snack he took a Thermos Funtainer stuffed full of strawberries and kiwi fruit. I decided that would be ample fruit for the school day. And he'll have a pear when he gets home (one of his favorite fruits, but he is very against eating pears at school. No idea why. He's kinda weird like that.)
Whether you are still getting into the school-time swing of things (like me!) or having your last days of summer break, I hope you are having a great time (and getting more sleep than me!) LOL *yawn*

Thanks for the info. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new blog. Bento-ing is new to me but I'm really enjoying it. You bring inspiration to me every day and I appreciate it.
I just wanted to say thanks for your blog! I never in a million years would have thought that this was something I could be into (I am busy enough). But sending my 1st kinder kid to school with these types of lunches makes me so happy. You have completely inspired me and allowed me to copy your creations. Keep it up, you are the best!
i could eat pickles alone for my meal! well, maybe with a side of cheese, too, but definitely pickles!
Looks delicious! Kidlet is the same way about certain fruits and veg. Some are fine at school and some are only for home. Who knew :D
