Before the EasyLunchboxes bento hit the ground Ethan had a grilled cheese sandwich, SunChips and sunflower kernels in the big section; sliced kiwi fruit, carrots and homemade ranch in the smaller sections.
Not all was lost in the tipped bento fiasco. Just a few SunChips, a couple carrots and most of the sunflower kernels were lost in the battle for elbow room. Just five more days til that school bell rings! ;-)

Very nice! Glad not all was lost. : )
Did you ever post your recipe for the cheeseburger stuffed muffins?
I really appreciate your blog! I look forward to your posts. I really want to start using the bento system for my daughter. I am finding it difficult to know what to start out with or where to find it (I am very rural Canadian). Can you help? Have you ever thought about combining some items & selling them?
Thanks so much,
Stacey
What a shame. Looks like a nice healthy lunch. I love that background!
Love the "in the battle of elbow room"..lol, sounds like my house. Glad to hear that super yummy lunch was not all lost.

Hi Stacey! I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble finding supplies. I understand the frustration. I live in the middle of Tennessee, which is not exactly the bento capital of the universe. :) Almost all my supplies have been bought online... I'm sure JList (bento store shown in my right margin) ships internationally, I've purchased a lot from them. Also ebay. Will Amazon ship to Canada?
~ And thanks everyone! :)
Stacey--I'm doing a frugal version of Bento lunches for my three kids using EasyLunchboxes and silicone cups, which I bought at Michael's (one of our craft stores) with a 50% off coupon. You don't really need a lot of expensive supplies.
Great post! I'm following you now. My little guy is just starting preschool but I have to send him a snack. I'm loving seeing all the ideas for what to send (it also helps for new ideas for lunches b/c he often eats the same thing over and over).
Can you tell me the name of the product that is holding the dip and sunflower seeds in the box in this post? It is so cute! Thanks!
Hi Charlotte! Those are silicone muffin cups. The green one is a standard size one, that specific one is from Cost Plus World Market. The smaller blue one is a mini-muffin silicone cup, from a set of multicolored ones I ordered from Amazon - http://amzn.to/bJ1f3J
:)
Thanks so much for your quick response!
