This one is for my 8-year-old, his first muffin tin meal. :)

Back row: dried out carrots (don't you hate when that happens?!) with homemade ranch for dipping, raspberries, pickles.
Front row: kiwi fruit, a spicy chicken quesadilla, cheddar cheese airplane with havarti cheese windows (LOL).
The cheddar cheese airplane ws made with a really old cookie cutter I have. I've had that cookie cutter longer than I've had kids! It's by Wilton, but back in the olden days you could buy those things for 25 cents a piece at places like Michael's and Walmart. I haven't seen them sold like that in a loooooong time.
The quesadilla was cut out using one of the new neato Lunch Punch VrrrM! sandwich cutters! The middle airplane shape can be removed from the big cloud-y square, very fun! Ethan thought it was great. I agree. He's a smart kid. ;-)

What a yummy looking tin! My girl hasn't tried kiwi yet... I'll have to get some next time I'm at the store. :)
gorgeous, just gorgeous. I need to get me some of those lunch punches!
YOu always take such wonderful photos. Do you have a DSLR?
Now that is just too fun!
Love this lunch! I found the old school cookie cutters at an Amish booth at the farm market a little while back and it was so fun letting the kids pick out their own for less than $1!
Awesome! I have to check out those sandwich cutters. So cute!
great lunch! My Morris would love it!
I always give the dried looking carrots an extra lil scrub, or they get rejected :D
I love the planes. JDaniel gets dried looking carrots sometimes. Wish cookie cutters were still sold that way.
Thanks for stopping by.
Nothing like a nice planewich combo. Yum~!
What a fantasticly fun lunch! I love the cheese airplane.
Michaels actually still sells them individually. I found my mouse cutter (in my latest post) from michaels like that. This is such a fun lunch, I love it. You put such love into every little thing. Your kids must think you're the best!
Awesome MTM!!
Hobby Lobby has a whole section of cutters sold individually too! :) Cute tin!
Do you send the muffin tin with your kids to school? If so, what do you put the muffin tin in for carrying purposes to school?
We don't take our muffin tin meals to school. I usually make these on the weekend and the kids enjoy them from the comforts of the kitchen table. :) I have heard of some moms using those cupcake carriers to take MTMs on picnics and whatnot, but I have not transported them myself.
