I got it, and it's great!

The green "stem" section has gel built in it so you can freeze it to keep the food in that section nice and cold. It detaches from the main tray for easy freezing. You can also forego that section and just use the main yellow part. Each piece has its own lid so they can be used individually.
On this day my little guy had ham and cheese pieces in the cold stem section (cheese being the scraps from stars made the last few days!).
In the big section he had: corn, cucumber chunks, some sort of smiley snacks from Earth's Best, graham snacks from Earth's Best, diced purple grapes, peas.
The corn and peas thawed nicely by eating time, but the ham and cheese was still nice and cool. Perfect!
My 8-year-old joked that this is what you get when an ice cube tray and a pineapple get married. ;-) Ha!

That's cool! I haven't seen that before. What are the dimensions? I can't quite get a feel from the photo.
The yellow part is about 7" long by 5" wide at the widest part. It's 1" deep. The green section is less than 3" by about 5" wide at the widest part. the stem is shallower since the gel walls take up space.
For Tyler who just turned one year old it is enough for a full meal for him, it would hold a enough for a snack for Paige.
The lid fits flush to the interior, so nothing will go hopping across the walls. :)
Oh I might have to buy this one...ugh I am going to have to go to a support group for all the lunchboxes I have! yet I can't stop!
I know the feeling, Danielle!!!
I think I see a must have. That is too cute!
That is so awesome! Having the smaller compartments would be great for my picky eaters. Thanks for sharing!!
ooooh....I love that...its so super cute!
Aw that's cute! Looks delicious and fun :D
I think I'm going to get this for when my little one (due in the next 2 weeks!) is ready for table food! It'd be perfect for the diaper bag!
I have so been meaning to ask you what you do with your scraps... I am way too frugal to make cute little shapes in sandwiches and stuff, because I can't waste anything! Glad to see you are using cheese scraps! :)
Rest assured, Julie Anne - very little goes to waste! Dry bread crusts get tossed (though one day I'll get on the ball and salvage those to make bread crumbs out of...not there *yet*), but that's about it! :)
that tray is awesome! thanks for visiting my blog!
That's really neat - where do you find those?
Hi Melissa - I ordered it from Amazon! :) I'm not sure where else they are sold. They are made by "Zak!" if that helps. :)
I was wondering if you ever got one! I love mine so much I bought a second one for my 22 mo. My nearly 4 yo loves it. Yippee for everyone! :) MM
MM - was that you who mentioned it in comments? I tried finding that comment thread so I could credit the person who mentioned it to me but couldn't for the life of me remember what post it had been on or what time frame to be looking at! If it was you, thank you!! I see the nibble tray being so handy! :)
My sister will just have to have that for her new baby.
Any idea where this is made? I really love it but am I having trouble finding this information.
Thanks!
Hey there "theirmomma"! I am having a hard time locating my Nibble Tray, but when I hunt it down I'll update with that info. I've got way too many boxes and they are stashed all over the place! :)
I added the "set" to my Amazon Wishlist so I can get them as Christmas gifts for my newborn niece! Where the heck was this when my Princess was that little? *lol*
