EasyLunchboxes and diagonal fruit

Just a few more days of 2nd grade left for my biggest boy!
His lunch packed in an EasyLunchboxes container (love these things, they are just so, so, so.... easy!):
fruit n' stuff EasyLunchboxes

I was thrilled to discover our swizzle sticks fit in the EasyLunchboxes! They make such fun fruit kabobs. In the big section the strawberries lined up on a swizzle stick made for a nice barrier to the loose raspberries in the corner. On the other side are some grapes on picks and baby carrots.
In the smaller sections are fishie crackers with cheddar cheese and a cereal bar with a homemade granola bite in a mini-silicone cup.

I have read several comments asking about a recipe for the granola bites. I see you! I am working on it!! I'll post it as soon as I can, which will likely be next week. I'm mostly done writing up the recipe for pizza pockets, I just need to edit it a bit. I'm very rambly and babble incessantly. I'm trying to make myself sound more concise. (wish me luck on that, LOL)

I'm liking those easy lunch boxes! Even though school's almost out (one week, yeah!), I want to pick some up for next year.
I need to put my kiddos' fruit on a stick~that would surely make it more appealing to my picky 6 (amost 7) year old! Thanks for all the ideas!

You know what? I saw the exact same type container in the store the other day made by Ziplock! I wonder if they're similar sized....to me it seemed too large for a preschooler's lunch (my kids' ages), but would have worked well for myself or an older kid.

Hey Jenny! Yeah, ziploc came out with a similar sized and shape container after EasyLunchboxes came on the scene. The difference is in quality. Ziploc containers are fairly disposable and wear out fast. EasyLunchboxes are made to last. I know from photos you can't tell a difference, but as soon as you put your hands on an EasyLunchbox you can feel the difference. These are not a disposable container. Check out this side-by-side comparison:

The EasyLunchboxes if packed compactly would be a lot of food for a preschooler, I agree. It depends a lot on what you are packing. My little girl has a big appetite (understatement!) and she doesn't have any problem finishing off her lunches, but I think she's a bit of a rarity. LOL :)
